Creative Jammer Rewards Cards are Here!

Dear Creative Diary,

Well. It happened. The Creative Jammer Rewards Cards are real. Tangible. Printed. Slightly glossy and unapologetically fun. I’m holding them in my paint-smudged hands like some kind of loyalty sorceress who finally cast the spell right.

No, they don’t have fancy rounded corners—but they do have six little jam jars lined up like they’re ready for a picnic of creative goodness. One for each class people attend. Six jams = one free class. It’s cute. It’s colorful. It’s dangerously motivational.

But now comes the hard part… do I punch them? Stamp them? Whisper affirmations at them under the full moon? I can’t decide.

Yesterday, the universe added a little sparkle to the debate. A lovely woman dropped off a donation—a stash of rubber stamps and ink pads so pretty I nearly wept. Shimmery greens, delicate florals, some vintage script-y thing that probably whispers in cursive. I mean, come on. Was that not a sign? A very pigment-rich, deeply satisfying sign?

I sat there looking through them, thinking about how funny it is- how the tiniest details can feel like a decision that might define an entire vibe. Will people feel more official with a crisp stamp? Or is there something about the satisfying ch-chunk of a paper punch that says, “Yes, you did a thing. You earned this.”

And maybe I’m overthinking it. (Shocker.) But then again, overthinking is kind of my brand. I’m running a creativity-fueled community out of a giant log cabin- clearly subtlety is not my strength.

Oh- and speaking of signs, the phone is officially up on the porch. The one I told you about. The black rotary one. The one for all the words we wish we could say- to those who left, or those who drifted. A plaque is coming soon. I think it needs its own entry, because yeah. It’s a lot. In the best way.

But for now… here we are. A little ink-stained. A little sentimental. A little indecisive about the best way to say “Thanks for being part of this.” You know what, I’ll put up a poll about this on the socials because clearly I can’t be trusted to make adult decisions without public opinion and mild drama.

—Me, the one who’s apparently rewarding loyalty with cardstock, jam jars, and stamp-induced existentialism.
