Our version of grown up game night: Creative Jam Improv.
You know what’s wildly underrated?
Playing.
Like, full-on, giggle-snorting, forget-your-to-do-list, “wait, did I just pretend to be a toaster?” kind of playing.
Which is exactly what we do during our Improv Jams—a totally nonthreatening, zero-pressure, laughter-first gathering of brave(ish) grownups who show up, sit in a circle, and say yes to fun.
No scripts. No stage. No spotlight.
Just games. The kind you might’ve played in drama class, summer camp, or that one wedding shower where someone made you pretend to be a giraffe.
(Except now, you’re allowed to bring snacks. And you’re legally an adult.)

Creative Jam Improv happens the first Wednesday of every month from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, and it’s honestly one of my favorite things. Because something magical happens when you get a room full of people who are willing to look a little silly together:
They laugh. A lot.
Like, happy tears and sore cheeks kind of laughing.
And let me be clear—this is not a comedy competition. You don’t need “performer energy” or a background in theater. If you can say “yes” and maybe wave your arms around in pretend slow motion, you’re qualified.
We’ve had teachers, engineers, introverts, and at least one person who swore they were “just here to watch”—and guess what? They joined in. Because once the games start, it’s kind of irresistible.
So if your inner kid is a little bored, your outer adult is a little tired, or you just want to do something wildly unproductive that’s secretly good for your soul—come have fun with us at our Creative Jam Improv events!
No judgment. No pressure.
Just play.
Ridiculously,
Darcy
