Why Do We Need The Creative Jam?
As CREATIVES we often lack a few things:
Number one? Space! There never seems to be a good place to work on our creative efforts.
We know. Maybe you’ve tried working at the kitchen table? And just when you are getting to a good spot in your latest work of genius- the oven timer goes off and you gotta move everything for dinner. (Ugh.)
Or maybe you’ve tried the slightly-damp, musty basement? You know, where that dark shadowy thing in the corner with hairy legs seems to be watching you and absolutely judging your latest project. (Spider? Mother-in-law? Who knows, but it isn’t helping you get that landscape cloud ‘just right’.)
Not to mention, where do we put our stuff to dry and store our supplies?
Another thing we lack is having a safe place to hang out with other creatives who ‘get’ us. You know, our slightly nerdy, kinda edgy, truly imaginative selves! It can be lonely to be a CREATIVE sometimes. Where are the people who want to hear about our latest idea? And we know that it can be VERY lonely to WANT to be a creative, but not knowing where or how to even try.

- Creative Jam is a 6,200 square foot, multi-use facility in the foothills of the Adirondacks of New York. Our space is a beautiful, welcoming, authentic, rustic, Adirondack cabin- complete with rough-cut exposed log walls. This sun-filled space has been outfitted to serve you, the creative community, and people who are interested in your work.

- A sewing machine ready table (it will accept your machine up to 17.5” W x 7.5” D)
