I’ve been thinking lately about what makes something real.
Not just trendy. Not just aesthetically curated. But real.
Built-from-the-sawdust-up, sweat-and-soul real.
The Creative Jam didn’t start with a pitch deck and a Pinterest board. It started with an idea—and a whole lot of hustle. One year, countless classes, endless paint splatters, and roughly twelve billion glue sticks later, we’ve built something truly special in this authentic Adirondack log cabin. A very special place. An inspiring creative space. I guess you could even say we are the original creative space.
And sure, I might’ve made it look easy. That’s the magic of passion-fueled chaos, my friends.
There will always be other spaces. That’s fine. Good, even. The world needs more creativity.
But let’s be honest—this log cabin on Route 149?

That’s the original creative space… The OG Jam.
And nothing—not copycats, not curated Instagram grids, not a thousand Edison bulbs—can fake the feeling that happens here when someone takes a creative leap and realizes they can fly.
So to those who’ve been with us from the start—or just found us and thought, “Ooh, this place has good vibes”—thank you. You’re the glitter in our grout, the peanut butter to our creative crackers, the reason this jam hits different.
We’re not worried about who’s watching.
We’re too busy creating the thing they wish they’d thought of first.
See you in the cabin,
Darcy

It’s said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. You have created something awesome and unique and it was only a matter of time before someone else said “I can do that!”. You’ve inspired a dream in someone else…what they do with it is up to them!
