From birthdays to bachelorettes, our log cabin parties are full of color, creativity, and zero pressure to make polite small talk with strangers.
Maybe you’re looking for a class, and not necessarily having a party?
No worries—we do private classes by appointment here at The Creative Jam.
If there’s a past class you were dying to take (but life got in the way), or you want to plan a creative session just for your own circle—whether it’s two people or ten—let’s talk.

We host private events for ages 8 to adult, perfect for:

  • Birthday parties (kids and grown-ups)
  • Bachelorette parties (hello, glitter + gossip, we even have a male model to pose for you)
  • Bridal showers
  • Team building that won’t make your coworkers cringe
  • Baby showers & sprinkles
  • Anniversaries & retirements
  • Girls’ nights out
  • “We just felt like making stuff” days

Starting at $400 for up to 10 guests, you’ll get:

  • A fun creative project of your choice
  • All supplies provided
  • 2 hours of private studio time
  • A gorgeous, rustic space (that you don’t have to clean)
  • Setup and cleanup handled by us
  • Canvas painting
  • Crown and wand making (great for princess parties or queen energy)
  • Royal icing cookie decorating
  • Custom wine glass painting
  • Witchy-vibe herbal jars or vision boards
  • Something else? Let’s dream it up together.
  • Additional guests ($35/person)
  • Extra time for gifts/snacks/photos ($50 per 30 mins)
  • Custom sugar cookies
  • Goody bags for each guest
  • Delicious sweet or savory foods from Bean’s Country Store
  • Professional photographer
  • Princess or character appearances
  • Puppet show or interactive puppet friend

Our base price includes up to 10 guests—yes, this includes any kids and adults participating in the event. Want to invite more? No problem—extra guests are $35 each. Just give us a headcount two weeks in advance so we can prep the magic.

We’ve got creativity covered—you’re welcome to bring your own snacks, cake, or non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy during the party. (Please note: outside catering or full meals aren’t permitted without prior approval—we like to keep it light, fun, and mess-free.)

  • 50% deposit due at booking
  • Remainder due 1 week before the party
  • Half your deposit is refundable if you cancel at least 30 days in advance of the event date
  • Final guest count and add-ons need to be confirmed two weeks prior

💰 How much do private events cost?

Our base package starts at $400 for up to 10 guests and includes a 2-hour creative party, your chosen project, all supplies, goody bags, and setup + cleanup.
More than 10 guests? It’s $35 each for extra magic-makers.

📅 What’s the deposit and cancellation policy?

We require a 50% deposit to hold your spot.

  • Canceling private events 30+ days in advance? You’ll get half your deposit back.
  • Less than 30 days? Your deposit becomes a sad little “we miss you” note. Non-refundable.
❄️ What if the weather gets wild?

We live in the Adirondacks—we get it. If a legit weather emergency hits (like highway closures or a declared state of emergency), we’ll work with you to reschedule.
Just note: rescheduling depends on our availability, and if roads are still open and safe, our regular cancellation policy stays in place.
If we have to cancel due to weather or power issues, we’ll let you know ASAP and get you rescheduled or credited.

👶 Do kids count toward the guest total?

Yes! Anyone participating in the party—young or old—counts toward your guest total. Crafting knows no age limit.

🍰 Can we bring food or cake?

You’re welcome to bring cake or cupcakes for a celebration—we love a good frosting moment!

For anything more than cake or cupcakes (like snacks, sandwiches, meals, charcuterie, etc.), all food must be coordinated through The Creative Jam. We partner with Beans Country Store for delicious, hassle-free options that pair perfectly with creative fun.

 

If you’re looking for a full catering setup or buffet-style meal, that falls under a studio rental, not a party package—different layout, different vibe, and different rules.

 

Not sure what’s allowed? Just ask—we’ll help you feed your people without feeding the chaos.

🪑 What’s the space like?

Our rustic log cabin has flexible seating for up to 50 ore more people for crafting parties. Want a more mingling-style event? We can shift the setup and add a gift or cake table—just ask!

🧓 Can parents hang out during kids’ parties?

Yes—and they need to! All kids’ parties at The Creative Jam are not drop-off events.

At least one responsible adult must remain on-site for the duration of the party. Luckily, we’ve got a cozy lounge area where grown-ups can relax, sip something warm, and quietly cheer on their little creative whirlwind from a safe (glitter-free) distance.

♿ Is the space accessible?

Yes! Our studio features a 26-foot aluminum ramp, a wide-entry doorway, and an all-gender, wheelchair-accessible restroom. If you or your guests need specific accommodations, just give us a heads-up—we’re happy to help make everyone feel welcome and comfortable.

💵 What if something gets damaged during the party?

The Creative Jam is a working studio filled with valuable art tools, handmade furniture, and creative equipment—not a playground.

To help protect the space, we require a refundable damage deposit for all private events:

  • $150 minimum for standard private parties
  • $250 for parties involving kids under 10, messy materials (slime, paint, food + crafts), or 15+ guests
  • Higher deposits may be required for high-risk setups or tight scheduling windows

As long as everything stays in one piece and the cleanup is reasonable, you’ll get your deposit back within 48 hours. If not… well, we’ll send you a glitter-scented invoice.

📸 Will you take photos at our event?

We love capturing the magic! We may take a few photos during your party for social media or future promos. You’ll have a chance to opt out if you’d rather not appear. We also have a pro photographer available—just ask!

🧹 Do we need to clean up?

We handle all the basic cleanup. If you bring extra decorations or food, we ask that you take your items and leftovers with you. Let us know if you need help boxing things up.
